Donkeys

Aamos aka Amppu is a brown gelding born in 7/2012. This donkey's appearance is a bit like that of Ihaa-as. A lovely little furry gentle donkey boy who loves to be cuddled.

Pilvikki aka Piltsu is a grey mare born in 4/2021. Piltsu has a strong underbelly. It reminds me a bit of Shrek's Donkey friend.

Piparmintun Pipsa aka Pipsa is a slightly lighter grey mare born in 11/2015. Pipsa is our Pilvik's mother. Pipsa likes to hang out with people and is also used to riding.

Alpacas

This charming trio of boys arrived at our farm in the fall of 2025. The boys were born in the summer of 2024.

In this picture are the lovely and lively Dani and Oliver. In addition, the trio includes the charming Loitsu.

Alpacas are curious and interested in people and like to eat carrots from your hand. However, they don't like being scratched much and rather shy away when you try to touch them. The alpacas make a funny sound by snorting.

We visit the alpacas by appointment and organize alpaca walks with them.

Horseflesh

KUNKKU or King Journey is a warmblood gelding born in 4/2011. This horse is the type of horse that “anything goes” that trusts people and is a very gentle red gentleman. Although Kunkku is very tall, he is very kind and has been ridden by even a 1.5 year old child. Kunkku has a bit of a Goofy Hopo-like personality. Kunkku has also been involved in trotting and now works as a bush horse. You can recognize Kunkku by the white star on his head.

JOHNNY or Johnny Muscles is a warmblood gelding born in 5/2003. This gentleman is the “big brother” of our group. Johnny has had a long career as a trotter and is now enjoying his well-deserved retirement here with us. Johnny is very likeable and kind. He “chatters” his lips, so it is often easy to recognize him by his voice. Johnny is kind in terms of his horse too.

Cattle

Veitikka is our Lappish cow born on 6/23. Veitikka is a really good guy and is a slightly rarer colored northern girl, as most Lappish cows are light in color. She lives up to her name and is always up for something to do. Veitikka is the one who is always ready to do anything together. A wonderful "companion dog" with whom we have learned a little about being a trail horse.

Ahto is our bull calf born on 6/25, who is an Aberdeen Angus. Ahto likes to be scratched and brushed, there is usually a lot to brush, as he likes to lie down in hay and hay a lot and is quite a hairy guy. Ahto is also always ready to do anything together, he is just a bit of a bad helper with his hooves.

Sheep

Lovely wool balls! These girls are charming, real therapy sheep. When you hug them a little, your worries disappear. The girls come to you when you call on them. They are also really in pain from affection (and treats) and especially Geri and Amalia's tails wag when you scratch them. Our sheep are Finnish sheep.

We have two granny sheep, Geri and Mel C who were born in 2020. Geri is the leader of our flock of sheep and the loudest of all. There were previously other sheep in the flock that were named after the Spice Girls, but like the original band, this group also broke up and these two individuals were left from the lineup.

The black sheep is called Amalia and the brown sheep is called Melinda. It may be that the songs of Leevi & leavings have played a part in the naming. These girls were born in 2023.

We have lambs born in June 2023 and June 2025. Amalia's girl Biscuit, born in 2025, has remained in our herd.

Baby lambs are expected in early summer 2026.

Goats

Victoria was brought to us from Peevo's farm in Sastamala. Victoria was born in 3/2024 and came to us as a three-week-old little girl. Victoria is particularly happy with the sheep and is the calmest friend in our group of goats. Victoria is expected to have baby goats in early summer 2026.

The goats Asta & Alma were born in 6/2025. You could film this duo all day long and they would be very entertaining to watch almost all the time. The saying: "if you're bored, get a goat" or "if you want peace of mind, don't get a goat" have often come to mind when following the activities of these girls. You can follow their adventures on social media channels, where the videos have already exceeded a million views.

Rabbits

Princess and Urho welcomed a male and female rabbit in the fall of 2023, who were named Armi & Danny. Armi stayed with us and Danny found a new home. Armi is a New Zealand Red and Belgian Giant breed and is reddish in color. Armi and the large silver rabbit Pate are expecting puppies in the spring of 2026.

Mimi is a French Lop-eared rabbit girl who was born in the spring-winter of 2025. A truly charming silver-colored individual. Mimi and the French Lop-eared rabbit Petter are expecting puppies in the spring of 2026.

Dogs

We have 2 Chinese Crested dogs and one of them is Pinky Twinky Överi Ihana aka Ihku. Ihku was born on 4/23. This hero, who lives up to his name, charms with just his presence. Ihku is a trusted employee of our operation. Ihku loves the fireplace, saunas, cucumbers, human closeness, forest walks, carrots, sun, playing fetch with toys and warming her owner's toes at night, the list could go on and on... Ihku is a dog, although he is often very hairy. The other Chinese Crested dog is Pinky Twinky Simsalabim aka Lola. Lola was born on 1/26. Lola is so sweet, lively and beautiful and is learning to do chores with Ihku. Lola is just as dog like Ihku.

There are also 2 wire-haired dachshunds and the other is Kruutikellar's Jenni and was born on 5/23. Jenni is my own breed. The other dachshund is Sisukas Siiri aka Köpi. Köpi was born on 8/20.   Dachshunds are close to people and love to be scratched, a little bit of everything and not barking at anything, hunting dogs.

Cat

Our cat is Kissikkä, although Kissikä has many names and obeys them all equally well. Miisu, Misse, Misu, Kissikkä, Kisu, Kissa, Höpö, Perskatti, Himskatti..

Our cat Kissikkä works as a keeper of mice, voles, etc. and is very skilled at it.

This cat is really social and close to people and always comes to watch when there are people in the yard. Spends time inside, in Olotila, in trees, in the attic, in the yard, on the terrace...

When she gets affection, she starts drooling. She feels great on your shoulders.

Without a doubt, the best cat in the world.

Quails

This group of strong adults includes one rooster and four hens. Their names are Toivo, Lahja, Onni, Unelma & Rauha. We had 17 quail chicks hatch in spring 2026 and we need to come up with names for them.
