Surroundings

Our farm is located outside the town of Kälviä. However, it is only about 1 kilometer from the center of Kälviä. There are hardly any neighbors.

In addition to the old chicken coops, a new chicken coop and outdoor buildings for the animals have gradually been built in the yard. The newest buildings are a new social space completed in the fall of 2023, which we call "Olotila" and a barbecue hut completed in the winter of 2024. In the summer of 2025, we built a hut in our nearby forest, Narnia, which has been used especially by Glamping campers during the summer.

The yard consists of a yard, forest and fields.

There is a barbecue hut in the yard where you can cook or make coffee and admire the animals' antics from the large windows. In addition, the yard has a sauna & hot tub, an old barn, which offers accommodation in the summer, and the accommodation facilities Konttikoti and Kotivaunu, which also offer accommodation in the winter.

All our animals live in species-typical conditions and can also go outside in winter (taking into account species-specific regulations).

Horses, donkeys, alpacas, cattle, sheep and goats live in a yard-type environment, so they can decide for themselves when they are inside and when they are outside.

The yard also has a hay barn, vegetable garden and greenhouse, as well as storage buildings.
